I guess I didn’t read the description thoroughly... I thought this would be so much thicker. I thought it would be a notebook with binding, not just paper stapled together. I love all the charts, but wish the cover was laminated or something.

Tiger Food Press ~ Art & Handmade Paper Goods Bringing The Outside In

Hello and welcome! I’m Clare, and I own and operate Tiger Food Press, a one-woman printmaking and sewing studio located between two rivers in North Portland, Oregon.

Inside my funky little print shack housed beneath the lilac tree within the blackberry bramble, I produce linocut art prints, block printed textiles, letterpress printed paper goods, hand bound notebooks, and small gift items featuring my drawing and care for detail.

My work is influenced by nature, from the wilderness of the west and camping trips in the Cascades, to the tamer realm of my vegetable garden and backyard chickens. I’m inspired daily to translate my love of the outdoors and of getting my hands dirty into works of art you can display and use in your home and in your own crafts.

Please pour yourself a cup of coffee or tea and have a browse. All work you see here is drawn, carved, printed, bound, and constructed by hand here in my studio.

Born in the high desert. Raised on sage brush and snow bunnies. Cut teeth as an offset printer. Went to art school. Settled on the wet side of the mountains with a set of carving tools and shelf full of ink cans. Sometimes stays up all night.

I am currently busy preparing for art fairs and markets, so I'm not taking any custom orders at this time. Check back between September and October for information regarding personalized holiday card orders.

Care instructions

My linocuts are printed on archival, acid-free paper. I recommend hanging art out of direct sunlight if possible.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Gift wrapping is available at checkout! I will wrap your gift in my own hand-printed kraft paper appropriate to the season and item.
